The K-Ramp box office report shows the movie, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja, performed well, especially on its first Monday. The movie was directed by a new director, Jains Nani.
K-Ramp was released in theaters on October 18. It had a good opening weekend and continued to do very well on Monday, October 21. The number of people watching the movie did not drop much.
On Monday, the film collected Rs 2.33 crore nett (as reported by Sacnilk.com). This was only an 18% drop from Sunday's earnings, which is a great sign. The movie benefited from the Diwali holiday, which generally brings in bigger crowds. So far, the movie has earned a total of Rs 7.43 crore nett in the country. Now, everyone is waiting to see if it maintains this strong performance over the next few days.
K-Ramp has an advantage over other Telugu releases like Mithra Mandali (which got mostly negative reviews) and Telusu Kada (which received mixed reviews). The movie cost 18 crores to make, and it needs to earn Rs 16 crore worldwide to break even. Since no major movie is releasing on October 24, K-Ramp is expected to hit this break-even target soon.
Jains Nani directed the movie, which is a comedy-entertainer. Besides Kiran Abbavaram and lead actress Yukti Thareja, the cast includes well-known actors like Vennela Kishore, Muralidhar Goud, Sai Kumar, and Naresh VK. Razesh Danda produced the film under the banner Hasya Movies, which previously made movies such as Mazaka and Samajavaragamana.
Kiran Abbavaram's last film, Dilruba, was not successful, but K-Ramp looks like another hit for him. His previous psychological thriller, KA, was also a surprise hit during the last Diwali season. His upcoming films include Chennai Love Story, a romantic film co-starring Gouri Priya. For more on big movie news, you can read updates about projects like KGF 3.
