Legally Veer is a courtroom drama made on a budget of ₹4 crore, but unfortunately, the movie has not done well at the box office. Despite its interesting storyline and performances, the film struggled to attract audiences in theaters.
Indian Box Office Collection
The movie earned just ₹0.2 crore in India. The response from the audience was very low, and the shows were running with empty seats in many regions.
Worldwide Box Office Collection
Including overseas markets, the total worldwide collection of Legally Veer stands at only ₹0.3 crore. This makes the film a big disappointment considering the production cost.
Day-Wise Box Office Collection
- Day 1: ₹0.01 crore
- Day 2: ₹0.01 crore
- Day 3: ₹0.01 crore
- Day 4: ₹0.01 crore
- Day 5: ₹0.02 crore
- Day 6: ₹0.02 crore
So far, the movie has collected only ₹0.08 crore (lifetime) in India. With such low earnings, it is clear that the film could not impress viewers.
Hit or Flop Verdict
To be called a hit, a movie needs to earn at least the same amount as its budget. Since Legally Veer was made on a budget of ₹4 crore but collected less than ₹1 crore worldwide, it is officially a flop at the box office.
About the Movie
The story of Legally Veer is set in Hata City. Veer, a struggling lawyer, decides to take up the case of Rama Raju, who is wrongly accused of murdering junior lawyer Balakrishna. Veer is supported by his father (played by Delhi Ganesh) and his close friend Raghu. The film is about Veer’s fight for truth and justice inside the courtroom, filled with drama and suspense.
Although the movie had a unique story and courtroom theme, it could not connect well with the audience. Poor promotion and competition from other big releases also affected its performance.
Comparison with Other Recent Releases
While Legally Veer failed, other movies are performing much better at the box office. For example:
- Jolly LLB 3 starring Akshay Kumar has created strong buzz with its budget details and box office updates.
- Kishkindhapuri is doing decent business and continues to draw crowds.
- Lokah Chapter 1 has shown strong collections and is emerging as a surprise hit.
- Madharaasi started its journey with a solid opening day in India.
